Flax Impact Plates
Flax Impact Plates are woven flax mats that are housed around the board’s insert packs, sandwiched between the core and top sheet. This horizontal layup works to withstand deep landings, distribute impact in variable conditions and increase the board’s overall lifespan without dramatically changing the board’s flex.

Do NOT be deceived by the mid flex flat rocker profile of this board. It is not the soggy jib noodle you might think it is. Rather, this is truly an all mountain ripper that will inspire you push the limits of your riding whether you're a fairly new rider or a seasoned vet.
If you're a freestyle oriented rider that wants something that will turn the whole mountain into a skatepark this is the board for you.
Side hits, rocks, rollers, drop ins, jibs, jumps. The thing rips it all!

I ride primarily on the East Coast. My style of riding is all-mountain freestyle: Ollies, ground tricks, side hits, 50-50s, board slides, switch, butters… And sometimes I just like to go straight down the mountain as fast as I can.
This board just rips and can do it all well. It has become my favorite board for a typical day on the mountain with the kids. It ollies well and easily, presses easily, rides switch like a dream and can lay a trench when you need it to. It gets jerked around a bit in rutted out terrain but that’s to be expected. It is surprisingly stable at speed given the design. It is easy to forget that it is not a camber board.
I paired it with Katana bindings and WOW!
My only “con” to this board is that the topsheet is pretty fragile. Seems to be the case with a lot of Rome boards - They just don’t have a thick epoxy coating. It means that the top sheet chips pretty easily at the edges and the graphic gets erased quickly. But this is all cosmetic.
It took me many years to find the perfect board..
PARTY MOD is it !
Insane board, super loose and playful with good pop/snap off rails and jumps. I ride a 153 and am 5'9 - 155lbs which fits my style perfectly. I'll be riding this board until they remove it from the line. The thing just RIPS, even in fresh stuff.
Plus their warranty department is insane, adds another level of confidence to your riding. Those dudes make an effort to keep you happy and riding!
