Katana
The Katana is a lightweight, hyper-responsive, game changer of a binding. Built on the surfy AsymWrap Platform and perfectly balanced with the locked-in hold of our UltraFlex Pro Ankle Straps, powered by AuxTech®, the Katana truly makes any board ride better. A team rider and in-house favorite, the Katana is cult classic thanks to the next level adjustability of PivotMount and its freakishly lightweight design.

Technology
AsymWrap
Our game changer of a chassis that revolutionized the idea of connected-comfort. The AsymWrap heelhoop features three connection points to the base allowing for a surfy ride, plenty of board feel, without sacrificing tweak or edge-to-edge response.
Forged Aluminium
Forged Aluminum heelhoop for lightweight strength and durability.
Pivotmount
A Rome exclusive innovation, PivotMounts allow you to adjust the position of the ankle strap on your boot with 8 different locations per side of the strap. The higher the strap sits on your boot, the more locked-in and powerful the feel, the lower the strap sits on the boot, the more playful and surfier ride.
UltraFlex Pro Ankle Strap
Powered by AuxTech®, the UltraFlex Pro Ankle Straps feature an overmolded design and open 3D edge for our most powerful, reactive and locked-in feel.
ProGrip Toe Strap
Powered by AuxTech®, ProGrip Toe Straps provide next level, locked-in hold and grip.
AuxTech®
Hinged patterns for next level connected-comfort. A Rome first innovation, AuxTech® is a game changing pattern we use in our ankle and toe straps. Auxetic Patterns are geometric patterns that become thicker perpendicularly when stretched. Essentially a network of tiny hinges that expand evenly when pressure is applied. Best in the game surface area pressure distribution and connected comfort, that’s AuxTech®.
