Are you All Ways Down?

Are you All Ways Down?

Are you one of those snowboarders who can have a good time in any situation on the hill? A glass half full type? Mr./Ms. positivity? If so, you may be All Ways Down. Ready to ride no matter the time of day, weather, or crew: it takes a special type of snowboarder to be All Ways Down.

Everyone at Rome embodies this All Ways Down mentality. Our in-house crew spends as much time avoiding work to ride (perhaps to a fault), team riders are always out getting clips no matter the snow level, and die-hard customers are constantly some of the first to arrive at the mountain (and last to leave). Keep reading to see how our team embodied the All Ways Down mentality during the 23/24 winter season.

No Matter How Far

More often than not you find yourself having to work for the clip. For some cruel cosmic reason, the best spots are not easily accessible. Loads of hiking, scaling steep terrain, carving out the in-run, and building a perfect lip: it isn't uncommon to spend hours on hours for a single three second clip. In the end the feeling of riding away from that trick is worth it. A perfect example is this front 7 done by Keegan Hosefros (below) after a day of building.

Whatever the Conditions

Icy stairs? No problem. Rome General Contracting has you covered

Snowboarding is pretty damn fun on bluebird days. There is no way around that. But if you're truly All Ways Down you think that even the worst day of boarding is better than the best day at work. You can find our team chipping ice off of stairs, carting snow from the nearest snow banks, and hitting spots in the pouring rain at any time of day.

Snowboarding can attract a crowd. This goes doubly so when you're one of the best riders around. Turning heads can be a good thing, like Len Jorgensen and Keegan Hosefros (above) blasting an inbounds hip at the resort. Sometimes though, you attract the wrong kind of attention. Joey Leon (below) kept his cool under the pressure of a police visit to the spot.

Our team just loves to board, simple as that. From day 1 to day 100 of the season the stoke level is always high. They eat, sleep, and breath snowboarding year round. From fresh powder to the final snow patches of the year: the Rome team is All Ways Down.
